This was not a holiday for us, we came because our son was playing in golf competition nearby. The cottage was perfect, village great, food in all eateries was very good. The people were wonderful and so friendly. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Thanks very much, so much better than on the website. Kerry, Len & Joe. Lovely break, comfortable cottage, especially the reclining sofa. Fab Sunday lunch at the Bull, the Italian restaurant is really good and the Chinese takeaway is good also.

Had a day out at Beamish, the Museum is fascinating and worth a visit. The Wall has lots to offer and Durham is worth a visit too. The walks are well laid out but take the route as the sign posts are far and few between. M&M Gloucestershire.
